Adecco is currently hiring a part-time Medical Administrative Clerk to join our client’s office team in Barrie, ON. In this role you will provide administrative and front-desk support in a clinical environment, ensuring efficient daily operations and excellent patient service. This role supports patient communication, documentation management, scheduling, and general office responsibilities related to sleep study services.

  • Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

  • Location: Barrie, ON

  • Schedule: 2x a week - Tuesday/Friday. 

  • Job type: Temporary | part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Answer voicemails and emails in a timely and professional manner

  • Greet and assist walk‑in patients with inquiries and administrative needs

  • Scan, upload, and maintain electronic documents and patient records

  • Prepare linen for laundry service and ensure linen is gathered for scheduled pick‑ups

  • Re‑stock sleep technician rooms with clean linen and supplies

  • Update internal systems with sleep study reports and attach reports to patient files

  • Fax sleep study reports to referring physicians’ offices as required

  • Perform daily filing of patient charts and records

  • Check the mailroom daily, scan received mail, and forward items to management as needed

  • Create monthly supply lists and submit to management

  • Receive deliveries (Staples, Amazon, etc.) and properly put away supplies

  • Order water for the clinic water cooler

  • Perform data entry, including entering sleep study referrals

  • Follow up with patients and book appointments

  • Complete general office duties and other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work on‑site in Barrie, Ontario

  • Previous experience working in a medical or clinic environment

  • Prior administrative or clerical experience

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable using computers, scanning systems, and internal databases

  • Able to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
