Cependant, il y a toujours un <em>mais<\/em> pour les membres des communaut\u00e9s 2SLGBTQIA+. Pour suivre ces \u00ab recommandations \u00bb, on aurait \u00e0 faire un d\u00e9voilement de notre orientation sexuelle et de notre identit\u00e9 de genre, ou <em>coming out<\/em>. Or, en le faisant, on risque d&#8217;\u00eatre confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des personnes qui nous disent de ne pas montrer qui on est et de ne pas divulguer enti\u00e8rement notre identit\u00e9. \u00c7a devient un jeu de cache-cache perp\u00e9tuel sans vainqueur.e.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/prideatwork.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/alexander-grey-sMnoDBdC1tE-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"An open hand with rainbow colours and a black heart in the middle\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\"\/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Le processus de d\u00e9voilement est complexe et peut cr\u00e9er des situations \u00e0 risque. De nombreuses personnes queers et trans en font l&#8217;exp\u00e9rience dans leur vie, et le milieu de travail n&#8217;est qu&#8217;un autre endroit o\u00f9 elles doivent d\u00e9terminer si elles veulent divulguer ces aspects de leur identit\u00e9, \u00e0 quel moment et de quelle mani\u00e8re. Il faut analyser plusieurs facteurs pour faire son <em>coming out<\/em>, et les employeurs sont enti\u00e8rement responsables de garantir des pratiques inclusives en milieu de travail s&#8217;ils s&#8217;engagent \u00e0 soutenir leur personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9voilement est un processus continu, car toute interaction est fond\u00e9e sur des pr\u00e9somptions. Nous, les personnes queers et trans, avons des exp\u00e9riences diff\u00e9rentes en ce qui concerne le partage de cette \u00ab petite \u00bb information sur notre identit\u00e9, et personne n&#8217;a le droit de nous sortir du placard, quelles que soient les circonstances. Le processus consiste \u00e0 analyser l&#8217;environnement, \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer si on peut faire confiance aux personnes qui nous entourent et m\u00eame \u00e0 \u00e9valuer la protection juridique. Le d\u00e9voilement ne se fait pas toujours sans accroc, mais on a appris \u00e0 nommer les discriminations subies.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs rapports de recherche font \u00e9tat de violations des droits du travail, d&#8217;\u00e9carts salariaux, de microagressions, de harc\u00e8lement et d&#8217;obstacles syst\u00e9miques au d\u00e9voilement en milieu de travail. Bien que ces pratiques discriminatoires \u00e9loignent les personnes de leur identit\u00e9 authentique au travail, plusieurs membres du personnel 2SLGBTQIA+ cherchent non seulement \u00e0 faire leur <em>coming out<\/em>, mais aussi \u00e0 s&#8217;ouvrir et \u00e0 ouvrir la conversation. Ces recommandations vous aideront \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un impact positif sur les exp\u00e9riences du personnel queer et trans.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faire preuve d&#8217;un engagement syst\u00e9mique envers le personnel 2SLGBTQIA+ et d\u00e9montrer la responsabilit\u00e9 de l&#8217;organisation,<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>par exemple, en faisant une utilisation \u00e9thique et en actualisant les commentaires du personnel et les donn\u00e9es provenant d&#8217;enqu\u00eates internes sur la diversit\u00e9, tout en donnant la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la confidentialit\u00e9;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Disposer de politiques, de proc\u00e9dures, d&#8217;orientations strat\u00e9giques et de plans d&#8217;action explicites qui incluent les motifs prot\u00e9g\u00e9s que sont l&#8217;expression de genre, l&#8217;identit\u00e9 de genre et l&#8217;orientation sexuelle,<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>par exemple, les politiques en mati\u00e8re de code vestimentaire devraient \u00eatre fond\u00e9es tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cifiquement sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 li\u00e9e au travail, et des options inclusives devraient \u00eatre envisag\u00e9es lorsqu&#8217;elles ne sont pas enti\u00e8rement \u00e9cart\u00e9es. Par ailleurs, le fait d&#8217;avoir du personnel et des cadres qui ont fait leur d\u00e9voilement n&#8217;est pas un signe de diversit\u00e9, d&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d&#8217;inclusion en soi, mais cela peut indiquer que vous \u00eates dans la bonne voie. Vous pouvez vous engager et \u00e9tablir des partenariats avec davantage de communaut\u00e9s et d&#8217;organisations queers et trans afin d&#8217;instaurer un climat de confiance avec les employeurs actuels et futurs.<\/p>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de la Journ\u00e9e nationale du <em>coming out<\/em>, soulignez votre engagement \u00e0 favoriser un milieu de travail plus s\u00fbr, \u00e0 \u00e9laborer et instaurer des politiques antidiscriminatoires claires, \u00e0 former les membres de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe \u00e0 l&#8217;inclusion 2SLGBTQIA+, puis \u00e0 \u00eatre un alli\u00e9 fort pour votre personnel. Le personnel s&#8217;\u00e9panouit lorsqu&#8217;il est convi\u00e9 aux tables de n\u00e9gociations et lorsqu&#8217;il est r\u00e9ellement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans les r\u00f4les de direction.
