Au fil des ann\u00e9es, notre organisme a \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moin de plusieurs avanc\u00e9es positives pour les personnes desservies, notamment en ce qui concerne les droits du travail, l\u2019interdiction des th\u00e9rapies de conversion et la modification des crit\u00e8res d\u2019admissibilit\u00e9 au don de sang. Parall\u00e8lement, nous n\u2019avons jamais baiss\u00e9 la garde dans la lutte continue contre la discrimination et l\u2019ignorance, qui existent toujours.<\/p>\n<p>Notre organisme est conscient de l\u2019importance d\u2019\u00e9duquer les gens sur des sujets qui favorisent une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 plus inclusive et harmonieuse. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, nous avons interpell\u00e9 et conseill\u00e9 nos partenaires, notre r\u00e9seau et nos communaut\u00e9s sur la mont\u00e9e de la haine \u00e0 l\u2019encontre de certains groupes de personnes en raison de leur identit\u00e9 de genre, de leur expression de genre et de leur orientation sexuelle. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des \u00e9tudes et \u00e0 la collecte de donn\u00e9es, nous savons que les communaut\u00e9s trans sont plus vuln\u00e9rables que d\u2019autres. Nous appr\u00e9cions et soulignons \u00e9galement leurs contributions aux avanc\u00e9es des droits que nos communaut\u00e9s ont connues au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_image_caption image=&#8221;4082887&#8243; overlay_mobile=&#8221;yes&#8221; style=&#8221;style_1&#8243; caption_appear=&#8221;caption_appear&#8221; skin=&#8221;light&#8221; radius=&#8221;0&#8243; title=&#8221;&#8221; description=&#8221;Un drapeau Progress Pride flottant au vent. Photo de Chris Robert sur Unsplash.&#8221; preloader=&#8221;&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15px&#8221;][vc_column_text]Il n\u2019est pas surprenant que le r\u00e9cent mouvement haineux et anti-2SLGBTQIA+ ait pour cible les personnes trans, et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antihate.ca\/1_million_march_4_children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">les manifestations du 20 septembre<\/a> (contenu en anglais) ne sont que la pointe de l\u2019iceberg de la discrimination. Sous pr\u00e9texte de prot\u00e9ger leurs enfants, les manifestant.e.s se retrouvent \u00e0 mettre en danger les enfants, les jeunes et les familles 2SLGTBQIA+. Nous devons prot\u00e9ger tous les enfants, y compris les enfants trans et queers. L\u2019\u00e9limination des politiques et des programmes \u00e9ducatifs significatifs dans les \u00e9coles canadiennes leur permettrait de maintenir le statu quo et de priver les groupes marginalis\u00e9s de leurs droits humains fondamentaux.<\/p>\n<p>Ensemble, nous pouvons construire et vivre dans un pays o\u00f9 la haine n\u2019a pas sa place, dans une nation o\u00f9 chaque personne peut r\u00e9aliser son plein potentiel \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole et au travail, peu importe son expression de genre, son identit\u00e9 de genre et son orientation sexuelle.
