The School of Architecture at Dalhousie University invites applications for a Part-Time Academic Instructor position in the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree program. The M.Arch. is a professional two-year graduate Architecture degree. Students complete a Pre-Professional Bachelor degree before M.Arch. enrolment.
The Instructor will teach a first-year 3-credit seminar in architectural humanities. Graduate seminars are topics-based, and can be developed in the instructor's research and/or practice area-of-expertise. A list of Graduate Humanities courses can be found here. The instructor is responsible for developing their own curriculum. Prior course outlines and structures are available.
Graduate humanities courses consist of up to approximately eighteen students, and meet one time each week for 3 hours. The Summer Term is an 11-week term, from May 4 to July 17.
Graduate humanities courses may be taught remotely. In-person is preferred.
