Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As a Member Services Advisor II, you will support members by providing practical lending solutions, guiding them through mortgage and signature lending inquiries, and strengthening relationships across phone, chat, and email. You will help members understand their lending options, offer alternative solutions where appropriate, and contribute to positive member financial outcomes. You bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and working knowledge of the real estate and mortgage market to ensure a supportive and seamless service experience.

This is a Full-time, Temporary role based at our Member Service Centre and will report directly to the Team Manager, Credit Solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Resolving and handling member lending inquiries including mortgage and signature lending across inbound/outbound calls, email, and online applications
  • Supporting mortgage renewals and meeting established sales and service objectives
  • Exploring alternative lending solutions with members to ensure needs are met
  • Making referrals to specialist roles when additional expertise is required
  • Leveraging MSC technical systems to support efficient, seamless member service
  • Following established service and quality standards to maintain consistency and trust


What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Completion of three Financial Planning courses: Fundamentals of Financial Planning 1, Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course, and CUIC 210
  • Strong understanding of lending practices including unsecured, mortgage, and construction lending
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and foundational accounting principles
  • Knowledge of registered and non-registered investment products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, chat, and email
  • Ability to analyze information, apply lending standards, and use sound judgment in decision-making


Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Post-secondary coursework or certificate in business administration, finance, or commerce (minimum one year)
  • Previous experience working in a call-centre environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships that support financial sustainability and community well-being

What You’ll Earn:

The salary band for this role is BCGEU Group 04 as per the collective agreement salary grid. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
