Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Lead Electrical Engineer to lead and support hardware design, analysis, and verification activities for our client in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for a proactive and technically strong engineer with experience in mixed‑signal or power‑supply circuit design, product architecture decision‑making, and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will play a key role in hardware development programs from concept through production, providing technical leadership, customer interface support, and hands‑on engineering expertise.

* This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

  • Pay Rate: $70.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product‑level design, analysis, and verification activities for a Hardware Development team

  • Perform trade studies for concept selection, product architecture design, and technical analysis

  • Design and analyze low‑power electronic circuits, including mixed‑signal and/or power‑supply circuits

  • Develop low‑level requirements documentation and manage changes using DOORS

  • Work closely with engineering teams to implement designs while ensuring adherence to defined processes

  • Perform or coordinate activities including:

    • Creation of test procedures

    • Development and verification testing

    • Technical documentation

    • Resolution of technical issues

  • Deliver technical presentations and actively participate in formal design reviews

  • Act as the hardware team focal point for interfacing with customers and cross‑functional groups

  • Support manufacturing by investigating hardware failures, identifying root causes, and implementing permanent corrective actions

  • Assist with task planning, development of schedules and estimates, metric tracking, and program status reporting

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective prioritization and schedule management

  • Work proactively with minimal direction while maintaining strong organization and communication practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong technical background in electronic circuit design and analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to lead design activities and collaborate across disciplines

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment

  • Knowledge of FPGA design

  • Experience with complex analog circuit design

  • Knowledge of or hands‑on experience with Model Based Engineering

  • Experience addressing EMI/EMC issues

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
