Adecco is currently hiring a Survey Account Manager for a full-time, remote opportunity based in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional with strong experience in surveying, business development, and project leadership within the construction or land development space.

As a Survey Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and supporting project execution through mentorship and collaboration with internal teams. You will play a key role in expanding market presence while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

  • Pay Rate: $140,000 – $150,000/year

  • Location: Ottawa, ON (Remote – must be locally based)

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

  • Contract: Permanent

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage client relationships within the surveying and land development industry

  • Prepare and oversee project quotations, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with project scope

  • Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue growth within the Ottawa market

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers to support successful project execution

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations

  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for expansion and strategic positioning

  • Support project planning by defining scope, timelines, and cost expectations during the quoting phase

  • Ensure strong communication between clients, project teams, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles

  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to expand professional network

  • Assist in training and development of internal team members, including Project Managers and support staff

  • Contribute to overall business strategy, revenue growth, and performance tracking through defined KPIs

  • Requirements

  • Strong understanding of surveying-related industries including construction, engineering, and land development

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or project leadership roles

  • Established network and knowledge of the Ottawa market and client landscape

  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with a collaborative mindset

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Experience preparing project quotes and managing project scope, timelines, and budgets

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining team collaboration

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
