Adecco is currently hiring a Project Manager – Building Restoration for a full-time opportunity based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), ON. This role is ideal for a building science professional with strong technical expertise in restoration, envelope systems, and structural rehabilitation who enjoys managing projects from investigation through to construction.

As a Project Manager, you will act as the primary client contact while overseeing restoration and building science projects, ensuring strong technical execution, financial oversight, and high-quality deliverables. You will also contribute to business development and support the growth and mentoring of junior staff within a collaborative consulting environment.

  • Pay Rate: $100,000 – $140,000/year

  • Location: GTA, ON (Site-based travel across Southwestern Ontario required)

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible / hybrid model available)

  • Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage building restoration and building science projects from initial investigation through to construction completion

  • Develop new business opportunities and support proposal preparation and client development activities

  • Conduct building condition assessments, including investigations for roofing, waterproofing, parking structures, and building envelope systems

  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation

  • Oversee tendering processes and coordinate contractor selection and project execution

  • Monitor project budgets, manage invoicing, and ensure overall financial performance of assigned projects

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term partnerships and repeat business

  • Support internal knowledge development and contribute to training and mentorship of junior staff

  • Coordinate site visits and provide construction-phase services, including review of ongoing work and project progress

  • Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with quality standards, timelines, and client expectations

  • Travel to project sites across Southwestern Ontario as required

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Building Science or Structural Restoration

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building science or restoration consulting

  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in a consulting environment

  • Strong knowledge of building envelope systems including roofing, waterproofing, masonry, windows, and cladding systems

  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to manage shifting priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Valid Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel

  • Experience with energy modelling is considered an asset

  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility is considered an asset

  • Willingness to travel and work at heights as required
