The Role:

 

The Principal AI Security Engineer builds and implements controls that protect AI systems from emerging threats. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on detection, prevention, and resilience of AI platforms. 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 

 

  • Implement AI runtime security controls (input validation, prompt filtering, output scanning)
  • Develop adversarial testing frameworks for AI systems
  • Build detection mechanisms for prompt injection and data exfiltration
  • Secure model training pipelines and CI/CD for ML systems
  • Implement model access controls and API security mechanisms
  • Develop red-team simulations for GenAI systems
  • Partner with SOC to build monitoring and alerting for AI systems
  • Contribute to secure coding standards for AI applications

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 8–12 years in security engineering
  • Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or similar)
  • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Hands-on cloud security engineering experience
  • Experience building detection and monitoring solutions
  • Experience with LLM guardrails and content moderation systems
  • AI adversarial research experience
  • Experience in platform security engineering
