Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Advanced Electrical Engineer to support hardware development activities for advanced programs, including defense‑related projects for our client in Mississauga, ON. This position focuses on low‑power electronic circuit design, analysis, testing, and technical leadership, while coordinating closely with cross‑functional teams and customers.

This role requires strong hands‑on design expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple technical activities in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

* This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

  • Pay Rate: $60.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical engineering activities including:

    • Low‑power electronic and electrical circuit design and analysis

    • Development of test procedures and execution of testing

    • Investigation of technical problems and definition of corrective actions

    • Management of engineering changes

    • Preparation of test and technical reports

  • Provide overall technical coordination across engineering functions supporting hardware development to ensure all customer requirements are met

  • ok so Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates, and schedules, and provide regular status updates to project engineering and management

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects and engineering activities with limited and shared resources

  • Act as the hardware team focal point for interfacing with:

    • Internal functional groups

    • External customers

  • Lead technical design reviews with internal stakeholders and external customers

  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues

  • Investigate electrical and electronic failures, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic circuit design

  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Electrical/electronics design

  • Circuit analysis and simulation

  • Build, test, and product support processes

  • Experience troubleshooting circuits and systems down to the component level

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment

  • Eligible to work on defense projects

  • CGP security clearance required

  • Python programming experience and/or model‑based design experience

  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a small group of engineers

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Technical leadership and collaboration

  • Clear and effective communication

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Customer‑focused mindset

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
