The School of Architecture at Dalhousie University invites applications for a Part-Time Academic Instructor position in the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree program. The M.Arch. is a professional two-year graduate Architecture degree. Students complete a Pre-Professional Bachelor degree before M.Arch. enrolment.
The Instructor will teach a first-year 3-credit seminar/workshop in ecological and socially beneficial net-positive architecture, from the first stage of an integrated analysis to final design details. Graduate courses are topics-based, and can be developed in the instructor’s research and/or practice area-of-expertise. The instructor is responsible for developing their own curriculum. Graduate technology courses consist of up to approximately fifteen students, and meet one time each week for 3 hours. The Summer Term is an 11-week term, from May 4 to July 17.
Graduate technology courses may be taught remotely. In-person is preferred.
